Crime and Justice

Many people are afraid of leaving house because of crime. All parents are extremely worried about the safety and the future of their children. Crime is one of the important dangers that children are facing today. In order to help children to stay away from crimes, we can take some ways. For example, education is a significant way to protect children from crimes. Laws and regulations should be taught to them by both teachers and parents. Young people should learn what is wrong and what is right. They should be able to tell crimes from legal activities. It will be quiet helpful to the young if they have access to books, newspapers and television programmers, which have the content to educate them to be law- abiding citizens. In addition to education through written materials or through the words of teachers and parents, children can learn from real examples. Moreover, people who are around children, such as parents and teachers, should pay more attention to children’s daily life. More care and love from them will certainly reduce the risk of children’s involvement in crimes. Furthermore, more support should be given to the crime fighting bodies like the police and neighborhood watch.

In conclusion, through our continuous efforts, we can help children to stay away from crimes.

Barry Island

Barry Island is located in the Vale of Glamorgan, South Wales. It is a district , peninsula and seaside resort. Barry Island has boasts natural scenic beauty and a sandy beach with promenade. When we are arrived on the beach, we can feel comfortable and relax. We went to the beach, enjoying the sunshine and the sea breeze. Barry Island is surrounded by many other interesting and exciting shops, bars and restaurants. Here, I have to mention the Barry Island Pleasure Park. The pleasure park has over 50 rides and attractions, including the Log Flume, Viper Rollercoaster, Sea Ray Pirate Ship, Galloping Horses and so on. Miniature pushes the coin machine is a simple and interesting game. Although I spend 20mins and 20 pound, I just get a small green ball, I also fell happy. What is more, amusement arcades are located within the pleasure park, and also on the surrounding sea front area, providing games of skill, chance and all sorts of video games.

I believe that Barry Island is a fantastic island, I look forward to Barry Island again.

A broadsheet is a newspaper that is printed in a large format and is associated with serious journalism as apposed to the smaller format, tabloids. A tabloid is smaller than the broadsheet, and is more popular. It uses a simple style, many photographs and sometimes uses sensationalism and emphasis in the stories. Some examples of newspapers that have a broadsheet format are: The Independent, The Telegraph and the Times. Some examples of newspapers that have a tabloid format are: The Mirror, The Sun and The Daily Star. People who read broadsheets tend to be higher class people and more educated, where as people who read tabloids tend to be of a lower class and read the newspaper for a bit of gossip.
We are prefer the tabloid relatively. The tabloid more attactive to young people like us. Gossip news, wonderful images allows people like to read it.
